High-Tech Dentistry - Improved Dentistry Through Technology

I have incorporated high-tech procedures and equipment in my practice to assist me in treating my patients more comfortably and efficiently.

Invisalign®

Treatment with Invisalign is quick and easy. With Invisalign, you don’t wear metal braces. Instead, your teeth are straightened by wearing a series of clear plastic aligners. The aligners are so inconspicuous that most people won’t be able to tell you’re wearing them. You’ll wear each set of clear aligners for about two weeks at a time, while your teeth move little by little toward the smile you’ve always wanted. The aligners are worn all the time, except when you’re eating, drinking anything but water, brushing, and flossing. Because the aligners are removable, you can eat all your favorite foods.

Drill-Less / Needle-Less Dentistry

Through the use of a stream of air and silica particles directed through a fine nozzle, many dental procedures can be performed without anesthesia, without a drill, causing no pain. This is especially beneficial to the children in my practice, but the adults love it also.

Two Hour Tooth Whitening

My office has been chosen as one of only a limited number of dental offices to offer this exciting advancement in tooth whitening. Instead of wearing "take home trays" for one to two weeks, the BriteSmile process will whiten the teeth 5-9 shades lighter in only TWO HOURS. WOW, talk about instant gratification!

Computerized Smile Improvement

If you are among the many people who hide their smile, or do not laugh too heartily because of fear of drawing attention to your teeth, cosmetic computer smile improvement will be of interest to you. We will take a digital photo of your smile, computer enhance it and return it to you with a before and after photo. Seeing the positive changes that can be made often gives one the motivation to change their less-than-perfect smile into one they are proud of.

Dental Laser

Only 1% of the dentists in the WORLD use a laser in their practice, I use two. One laser is a soft tissue laser which allows my hygienists and I to perform advanced therapeutic gum procedures unthinkable only a few years ago. The second laser is used to harden tooth colored fillings in 3-10, seconds instead of 20-40 seconds with non-laser units, thus greatly reducing the time required to perform these procedures with non-laser units.

Oral Camera

I use a tiny TV camera to project your tooth onto a monitor. In this way I can show you what I see, so we can jointly discuss your treatment options. This high-tech addition to my office has received constant praise from my patients.
