Dr. Charles E. Stratton
Dr. Stratton has performed a wide variety of cosmetic procedures on thousands of patients over the last 25 plus years of practice. In fact, many of Napa’s most beautiful smiles are the direct result of his expertise. While cosmetic dentistry is his first love, Dr. Stratton also enjoys his family oriented general dental practice.

About the Doctor
Dr. Stratton graduated from the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry in 1974. While attending UCLA, he served as President of his Senior Class, acted as a research assistant to the chairman of the Oral Surgery Department, received the Distinguished Student of the Year Award, and volunteered his dental services on an Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona. Dr. Stratton has practiced at the same location in Napa since 1981.

Nothing Less than Excellence
Dr. Stratton is a strong believer in advanced education and cutting-edge technology. He averages over 70 hours per year of advanced education while the State of California requires only 25 hours. His advanced training has been in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, implant placement, the study of occlusion (the bite), bruxism (the grinding of the teeth), and the study and treatment of gum disease. In the area of cutting-edge dentistry, Dr. Stratton uses a dental laser, only 1% of the dentists in the world use a laser. He also uses a miniature intra-oral camera to project patient’s teeth on a television monitor for diagnosis and consultation along with cosmetic computer imaging to show before and after results.

The Person
Dr. Stratton has been married to his wife Nina since 1982. Nina works in the management area of the office and heads Dr. Strattons BriteSmile bleaching department. The Strattons have two lovely children, both a daughter and son. Together, they form a very strong family unit, who enjoy many wonderful activities, sports and family vacations together.
